Viewpoint is hosting an online workshop on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) as part of the independent Timms Review of Personal Independence Payment (PIP). We invite you to take part.

The Timms Review is gathering the views and experiences of people across the country to help shape recommendations for the future of PIP. The feedback from this workshop will be shared with the Review's steering group and will help inform recommendations to the Secretary of State.

If you have experience of PIP—whether you've applied yourself, support someone who has, or have views about how the system works—we want to hear from you.

This is an opportunity to share your experiences in a safe and supportive environment and help shape recommendations for the future of PIP.

We'll be discussing:

  • What PIP is for and whether it is meeting its purpose.
  • Experiences of applying for PIP.
  • How decisions about PIP are made and communicated.
  • What works well and what could be improved.
