Meet Our Trustees

Simon Taylor

Having worked in accountancy since graduating from Liverpool University, I retired as Finance Director at CPUK in 2018, eventually joining as treasurer at Viewpoint in 2020. In addition to this role, I serve as a trustee and treasurer for both Welwyn Hatfield Community & Voluntary Service and Nyaka UK. I'm also a trustee director of the Cereal Partners UK Pension Fund.

Rachel Kasonga

Rachel is an international lawyer who has developed a passion for global mental health, focusing in particular on closing the treatment gap by advocating for increased awareness and accessible support in local communities as well as across the globe. Having lived on three different continents, Rachel is acutely aware of the unique challenges and disparities prevalent within differing communities when it comes to mental health issues.  Rachel now lives in Hertfordshire with her husband and two boys and continues to further her interests in Mental Health as a Trustee with Viewpoint.

Ashley Risk

My experience as a residential social landlord for HMO houses of multiple occupancy led me to being involved with health and safety, fire safety supervision, accounts and Performance Management. As well as being a trustee for Viewpoint, I'm a videographer and help write produce, direct and edit films. I'm also involved in community, commercial and art house projects

GRAHAM MUNN

My experience has ranged from being a front line social worker in various settings, to having management responsibility for operational social services (adult and children) teams in Scotland and Hertfordshire. It has included working in various planning and commissioning roles and I have had opportunities, such as working with NIMHE and at the University of Hertfordshire, that have allowed me to learn a great deal about mental health services. I have developed and promoted new ways of working across the region and to grow new services in mental health and social care.
