On her appointment as Patron, Ruby had the following to say about Viewpoint and mental health:

What makes this charity so special is that it’s built on something incredibly powerful — people with lived experience supporting one another with honesty, humour, compassion and hope. Mental health recovery doesn’t happen in isolation; it happens through connection, understanding, and community, and Viewpoint creates exactly that. I’m thrilled to become Patron and support a charity that reminds people they’re not alone, not broken, and definitely still part of the world.”
