The video that was recorded during Headway Hertfordshire's presentation during our November Get Together forum is now online to view at your leisure.
Thanks again to John for coming along to explain more about the important work that Headway does for those affected by brain injury.

Headway Hertfordshire is an organisation that works tirelessly to improve people's lives following a brain injury, be that the adult who has been immediately affected, or the loved ones who care for them. In this session, John explored the work that Headway Hertfordshire does and where they can provide help. He also described the details of brain injury (ABI) and how it is often known as the “Hidden Disability” that admits somebody to hospital every 90 seconds. A broad overview was given of the type of effects that a brain injury can present and how this can affect post ABI function, as well as the issues around family needs and concerns when dealing with a situation such as this.
