Viewpoint Camera Club

Viewpoint would like to invite you to join us at our Zoom group focusing on the world of photography.

Whatever your experience behind the lens, this group will offer you the opportunity to meet in a relaxed and supportive environment with others who share your passion. It will enable you to learn new skills and techniques, get and stay inspired, and provide a place for you to share your efforts.

Facilitated by Amanda & Bob, who have experience in using both traditional cameras and mobile devices, the group will run indefinitely into 2024

How this group develops is up to those who attend. Perhaps you would like to have a theme or topic each week for your photographic shots or work towards an exhibition of all your work.

The tone and direction of the club would be ultimately decided by those who join and if there is sufficient interest we can continue the group beyond its initial 6 weeks and make it a permanent fixture in the Viewpoint calendar.

Have your say in the Herts and West Essex new Patient Engagement Forum

In an exciting initiative led by the NHS Herts and West Essex Integrated Care Board’s recently established Patient Engagement Forum (PEF -created to ensure that the ICB hears the patient voice), they are launching a closed Facebook group to facilitate discussion, support, fact finding and create a two-way flow of information to ensure the patient really is at the heart of everything the local NHS does.
We want to hear your views on gambling

Do you feel you are affected by any gambling, either your own or anyone else’s? Has your gambling or the gambling of someone close to you had a negative impact on your life? We want to hear from individuals who are currently or have previously struggled with gambling, or anyone else’s gambling, to help shape the gambling support available in Hertfordshire for the future. Share your experiences to improve support in Hertfordshire.
Beginners Guide to Meditation

This 1 hour workshop gives an insight into meditation and what it can do for you. It covers the theory as well as providing a meditation technique with guidance for the practical application in your daily life. Meditation can release stress and cultivate a direct experience of peace.
Meditation for Healing Relationships

Learn how to create more open and calm interactions, greater understanding, compassion, respect and a deeper sense of connection. Relationships can be tricky to navigate, especially with those we are closest to. This course will help you uncover your triggers and learn how to handle situations when your buttons are pushed. We will also nurture the relationship we have with ourselves, because it is the foundation for changing our relationship with everyone else.

What we do

Viewpoint is a ‘not for profit’ charity that works together with people who have mental health and/or addiction challenges to influence change to achieve positive outcomes.
