Volunteer Coordinator Purpose To co-ordinate and support volunteers for the Viewpoint Charity. Main Tasks · Take up references for volunteers and have informal chats to skills match volunteers to volunteering roles. · Deliver induction programme to volunteers (about 1 ½ hours)· Organise e-learning for volunteers. · Organising DBS checks for volunteers. · Facilitating group supervision with volunteers.· Liaising with staff over agreed tasks Skills, experiences and qualities needed - Good organisational skills. - Good interpersonal skills.- Have time to spend on this role. - Computer skills. - Facilitation of groups or training skills. - HR skills would be desirable. When and where Time and days flexible – around once weekly. It is not envisioned that the role will be too demanding.Can work from home or Viewpoint offices. Support offered Travel expenses will be reimbursed up to £15 (return journey) per session.Induction and training providedSupervision offered.
