A brand new on-demand bus route has launched in North and East Hertfordshire. The HertsLynx, which has been likened to a public transport version of Uber, features no fixed routes on the service - instead passengers can be picked up and dropped off at a vast number of stops within a set zone, as well as designated locations in Stevenage, Bishop’s Stortford, Royston, Baldock, Hitchin and Letchworth.

Journeys will cost between £1 and £4 depending on the length of the journey.
