The guest presentation, hosted by Naomi Duncan of CDAHerts, recorded via Zoom during our first Get Together forum on November 24th is now available to view online on the Viewpoint Youtube channel!

Naomi kindly joined us to talk about CDAHerts' COVID Recovery BAME Project and how, through their engagement in Hertfordshire, they have pinpointed the valuable work that needs to be done in order to heighten representation and provide accessibility for BAME communities in our community. Targeting and raising awareness of the lack of community spaces and activities available, outdated ethnic monitoring forms, youth unemployment and child poverty, lack of carer support, mental health care and more, CDA Herts is working hard to engage with the community and support organisations such as HCNS and British Red Cross, as well as hosting their own local networking events and working in partnership with organisations such as Viewpoint.

Give it a watch and be sure to subscribe to our channel while you're there!
