News Facilitator Opportunity within Hertfordshire County Council Are you able to build rapport, actively listen, ensure inclusion, provide direction and clarity? If so, there is an exciting opportunity to become a Facilitator for Hertfordshire County Council. A Co-Production advisory group has been set up to inform the Connected Lives Gateway Programme which is developing a model to improve how individuals access information and advice about social care once the current arrangement ends in March 2023. To support the co-production process, HCC will be completing a ‘Working Together for Change’ (WTfC) programme which requires the use of facilitators. The facilitator’s role within the WTfC approach is to plan, guide and manage a group event to ensure that the group’s objectives are met effectively, with clear thinking and good participation from everyone who is involved. What are the expectations? The facilitators will be required to facilitate Co-Production workshops on the 6th and 9th of September 2022. The workshops will be held virtually and will run from 10am to 3pm. The facilitators will also be required to attend short ‘check ins’ before, during and post the workshops. Support will be offered as needed to help facilitators join the programme. What training will be provided? Facilitator training will be delivered virtually by ‘Working Together for Change’ co-ordinators on the 5th of July between 10 and 3pm.
