Join us on this brand new 6 week course, followed by a 5 week support group, in which subject experts as well as experts by experience deliver sessions aimed at providing help and support to mothers with mental health or addiction challenges.

During the course, we’ll be learning about wellbeing and recovery, discovering vital and useful tools for managing mental wellbeing, sharing ideas and stories in order to further understand parenting while maintaining our own mental health and enhancing the relationships around us.

These sessions will enable people to come along and have time and space to develop meaningful connections and support through mutual support and networking with their peers.

Two of our lovely and knowledgable Peer Facilitators will be hosting and supporting this course, ensuring that the group comes together as equals and are each given the chance to share knowledge, experience, concerns successes and challenges. Through the guidance of our facilitators, attendees will be able to receive help through the group and will be able to support each other in a solution-focused way.

By listening to each other, sharing our concerns and actively seeking solutions, individuals will feel supported and have the self-confidence to try different approaches to self-manage and move further along on their recovery journey.

Viewpoint is mindful that some mothers may find childcare difficult; we may be able to provide support to our attendees by offering a small contribution to childcare costs - don't hesitate to ask one of our facilitators during the course for more details.
