We have listened to the feedback from our members, Viewpoint has made some updates to their mission statement and values to make these more clear to existing and potential new members. We have also updated the training and support we provide to members wishing to take part in paid involvement and/or training activities (e.g. mental health nurse training, running open sessions/forums, attending meetings on behalf of Viewpoint and being a listener on our new Tea & Chat and Lunch & Fun projects).

We are offering the free 3 day training to all members and anyone who would like to be involved with our charity in the future, and have already great feedback from those who have completed it.

The training will take place via Zoom on 7th, 14th and 21st of July 10.30AM to 12.30PM. You must complete all three sessions to pass the training.

The training is now an essential component for all members undertaking paid involvement and/or training activities work with Viewpoint or considering this in the future. You must be able to attend all three sessions and have access to the appropriate technology with a camera to attend the Zoom sessions online. You will be emailed the Zoom access link and password before the first session.

The trainers are great at facilitating and teaching - and the group fantastic in their sharing and interaction too. - Amanda Worthington
