Thank you to our Rights of Way Surveyors
The newly trained CMS Rights of Way Volunteer Surveyors have been doing a fantastic job, undertaking an ‘Ease of Use’ survey of some of Hertfordshire's paths. In time this will generate tasks for new, self-sufficient, practical Rights of Way volunteer groups who will undertake maintenance work to enhance public access. We are keen to hear from anyone interested in joining one of these friendly teams as a driver from the CMS base in Hertford - using our vehicles to transport tools for tasks across Hertfordshire.

Tuesday August 22, 7.30pm-9.30pm
Join Countryside Management Service on a guided walk around Southern Country Park. We will look out for nocturnal wildlife in the park and hopefully spot a few bats along the way. Bring a torch or a bat detector if you have one. Please book in advance.
Thursday August 24, 10.30am-12pm
Join us for a family friendly walk around Oxhey Woods to learn about some of the interesting bugs, butterflies and other creatures that call this this important Local Nature Reserve home.
