Hertfordshire Adult Family Learning Service (HAFLS) Short Courses


For those Viewpoint members that don’t already know HAFLS run a lot of short courses in small groups (max 15) in venues such as Children’s and community centres so a very good intro to learning for those fearful of colleges etc. There are also courses that the whole family can attend.

Courses in Maths, English, Keeping up with your child, Intro to IT, First Aid, Wellbeing and Mindfulness, English for speakers of other languages etc.

Ipads made easy

Becoming a mid-day supervisor in a school

Christmas crafts

Becoming a classroom helper

Assertiveness and communication skills –possibly a particularly good one for those referred for advocacy – 7th November 1pm to 3pm one day a week for 5 weeks
