Royal College of Physicians - Vacancy for lay chair of the Patient and Carer Network
The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) is looking for a lay chair for its Patient and Carer Network (PCN).
This high-profile and influential role represents an exciting opportunity to drive patient involvement and work collaboratively with one of the UK’s leading health bodies. The lay chair will be at the centre of health debates within the RCP, and help shape the future of healthcare across the UK.
Drawing on the knowledge and experience of PCN members, the lay chair will:
· champion patient involvement and engagement across the RCP
· act as the leading spokesperson and advocate for patients and carers at the RCP
· represent patients and carers nationally in high-level meetings and in the media.
There is an honorarium associated with the role and expenses will be reimbursed.
