Hertfordshire County Council is looking at new ways of creating person-centred day services. These will take account of current and future need in Stevenage and St Albans for people living with Learning and/or Physical disabilities.
We are currently assessing all those attending in house day services for Stevenage and St Albans for adults with Learning disabilities and physical disabilities. We are also gathering data from transition teams and colleges on future need.
Once we have gathered this data we will create a service specification that takes account of the diversity of need. As a provider of social care services we would like to invite you to one of our provider engagement events to discuss these opportunities further.
Thursday 4th June at Fowden Hall, Rothamsted Research, Harpenden, Herts http://www.rothamsted-manor.co.uk/pdfs/location.pdf for St Albans Learning Disabilities day services.
Tuesday 9th June at Cromwell Suite, Cromwell Hotel, Old Stevenage, Herts http://www.cromwellstevenage.co.uk/10.html- for Stevenage Learning Disability and Physical Disability day services.
You can express an interest in this opportunity and confirm your attendance at either one of these events by logging onto/or registering with Supply Hertfordshire.
Once you have logged in and found this opportunity, please click correspondence and send details of the following:
- the names of those attending
- which organisation you are from
- whether you have any additional requirements (e.g. disabled access/vegetarian)
Your booking will be confirmed shortly afterwards.
Please note that there will be a maximum of 2 attendees per organisation permitted and no guarantee of attendance if you do not book.
