Have you heard of Peer Mentoring?
Want to know more about it?
Have you used Drug & Alcohol services in your recovery?
Mentoring can be defined as a 'one-to-one, non-judgemental relationship in which an individual, the mentor, gives time to support and encourage another.' It recognises people's need for having somebody there for them as they develop skills and gain the confidence to become independent and lead fulfilled lives.
Our 3 session course is aimed at giving people the confidence and knowledge to take the first step in peer mentoring or volunteering for organisations that provide Drug/Alcohol services in Herts.
The course is held at The Wellspring Church Centre, 1 Wellspring Way, Watford WD17 2AH
(Please note: Satnav WD17 2NU nearest parking is at Kings Car Park)
The course is 3 sessions long, every Thursday. Starting 28th August and ending on the 11th Sept 2014.
If you would like to attend please call Leslie or Tracy on 01707 328014 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
