Opportunity to train as a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Instructor

MHFA.jpg

Viewpoint has received funding from the Workforce Development and Partnership (HCC) to train up some people with a lived experience of mental health challenges who live in Hertfordshire to become Instructors of the adult MHFA course.

The MHFA course is very popular with employers and you will be able to deliver the half day, one day and two-day sessions with a co-trainer once you have completed the course.

I attach an application form and some further information about the role.

Viewpoint will require the successful applicants to undergo a 6-week training course this autumn in London and to deliver at least two courses a year on behalf of the Charity. You will also be asked to actively network and promote the courses to organisations to generate bookings.

If successful at interview, you will then be required to apply online to MHFA to be accepted on to their Instructor courses.
