2019 marks the 13th year that we will be holding Recovery-based events across Hertfordshire - once again adopting a local approach in a venue nearer to you. We will be in Ware, Stevenage, Watford and Hatfield. This year our events update where mental health and Recovery have got to, introducing a new concept called Discovery. In addition we will look at the idea of Community and how to connect to it, support it, and find help there when necessary.
As usual the programme has been entirely co-produced and there is, as always, an emphasis on the voice of lived experience from presenters and speakers. We will have some drama too in the form of May Contain Nuts, a drama troupe who last year won The Guardian Innovation in Mental Health award. Expect to hear stories from people who have lived them and some thoughts on working together to make our communities places we care about.
Transport is available for those who have no means of otherwise attending.
