Almost one in four people never take a break from work and many don't even have a holiday, according to new research today.
A survey of 2,000 workers by Legal & General showed "growing concern" over the number of hours people were putting in and the impact on their health.
One in five of those questioned said they worked too many hours every week and were not happy with their work-life balance.
Half of the workers said they were worried about lack of exercise while two in five believed they were not getting enough sleep.

A third said they were stressed out by their daily work routine.
Many of those who did not take breaks during the day said they felt stressed and worried that they were not getting enough fresh air or exercise.
Senior managers were least likely to take a break from work during the day while those at the top of their career were most likely to work extra hours.
