24th Nov & 8th Dec 2015 10.30 am – 14.30 pm
Service users will need to attend both sessions
Are you interested in learning more about the service user / survivor movement?
Have you used mental health services and/or drug alcohol services?
Are you interested in hot topics in service provision?
Would you like to enable service user’s voices to be heard?
This workshop is for people who are interested in representing the diverse voices of service users to those who commission or provide services. This may be at a local forum or a more formal meeting or working group.
The benefits of this for service users and services are:
· Services that reflect what people want and need in their recovery.
· Ensuring that service user involvement is a priority and is meaningful.
· Learn new communication skills and meet new people.
· Opportunities for occasional paid or voluntary work.
Please note that we reserve the right to cancel the workshop if numbers are low. Please book a place by the 20th November 2015 if you can attend.
The Workshop is run by Andrew H Smith and will be held at:
Viewpoint, 56 Bridge Road East, Welwyn Garden City, Herts AL7 1JU
