Changing Services Together
Come along and have your say about the future of day activities and supported living services!
Hertfordshire County Council have asked the National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTi) to talk to disabled and older people, their carers, groups, networks and organisations to find out what helps people live better lives in their communities.
We want to hear from people who are currently using/providing day activities or supported living services and from people who will become eligible, for instance, young people leaving school with support needs and older people considering their future care and support needs.
Hertfordshire are keen to hear people’s voices about what matters most to them, before making any decisions about future provision.
You can have your say in a number of different ways:
1. By attending a workshop hosted by Viewpoint for people who currently use services or might do in the future at:
Thursday 10th March
10.30am – 12.30pm
56 Bridge Road East
Places are limited and will be given on a first come first served basis. Call 01707 328014 or firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve a place. Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed for service users and refreshments are provided.
2. You can also have your say via a survey which will be circulated widely through existing bulletins, networks and organisations, in early March 2016.
